Add new badge

Note:  You cannot allocate a new badge to a person whom already has a valid badge.  Any existing valid badge must be reclaimed first by clicking on the red reclaim badge icon in the Action column.

1. Select person

2. Click Add button

3. Enter new badge information

Enter new badge information

Enter the Badge Number (required), Version (required – this is usually 1 if this is the first version of the badge), Active Date for the badge (this will default to now), Expiry Date (this can be left blank).  

4. Click save

Click save

Once the required data is entered click save and a badge record (with badge status = valid) will be displayed in the portlet.
