Send Message/Update Flag

This new feature allows  Admin to interact more with the students especially with attendance and absentism.

Click on the Student detail portlet to open.

Select a student to send a message and apply a flag to the student.

Click on the button (Send Message/ Update Flag) on the top left grid.

The user has the option to send an email to the students selected and to assign the selected students a flag.

Select "Send email"; Enter the requested data

Select "Update Student Flag" to assign the students selecteds to a flag.

Click "Submit" once all mandatory comboboxes are filled.

The user can see that the messages was sent to the 5 students successfully.

Check to see that the main grid is updated with the flags changing to the colour Green.
