Student Dashboard
The Student Dashboard is made up of
- Student Combobox
- Student Details Widget
- Absence Request widget
- Attendance details widget
- Communication log widget
- Swipe log widget
1. Select a student name in the combobox.
Once the student name is chosen and the date range is entered. All the widgets on the dashboard is populated with information of the chosen student instantly.
2. The Student Details information is displayed on the Student Details Widget:
The full personal student course details is displayed here in this widget.
3. Absence Request widget:
The Lecturer can 1) Accept or 2) Reject by clicking on the icon shown below.
The absence requests will appear under the absence request widget. here the Lecturer can accept or reject the absence request made by the student.The Absence request widget is updated instantly when ever an absence request is made on the student portal and on the absence portlet by a student.
4. Enter date range to view Attendance details.
5. Communication Log;
View the detils of the mesages sent to the student.
- Click on the icon to view the message sent. Below is an example.
6. Enter the date range to view the student's Swipe Log;
The user can see the full swipe log history of the student in question. and verify what is matching and unmatched for each class.
- Matched and unMatched logs are shown like this below.
