The Event Management portlet allows the user to create events against which students attendances will be recorded. Typically events will be created via an Application Programming Interface to the college timetable system, but TDS Student also has the facility to create and maintain events manually. This portlet can be used to setup and record attendance at one off events such as one to one meetings or careers days. The Event Management portlet also allows the user to cancel and postpone events.
